This web site is an online visual teaching manual, created to teach you the basic art of hand painted lettering. It will enable you to develop extraordinary hand and eye coordination, produce incredible sign and vehicle graphics and lots more. There are things that can be done with a brush which can't be matched by a computer. With this on line teaching manual, you too can paint like a pro. But in order to create spectacular air brushed enhanced lettering with multiple tones, shadows and outlines, you must first master the basics. These advanced applications in sign lettering are achieved by using what we call the wet-on wet technique. The hand painted letter acts as a base coat or primer, which is then enhanced by airbrushed highlights and shadows, sprayed over the wet paint alowing tones to dry as a uniform finished letter.
